I appreciated the clean rooms and modern amenities in the Du Jardin. The bathroom was particularly nice, spacious, and offered great toiletries. The location was a short 12-minute walk to the train station and about 25 minutes to the old town, making it convenient to explore. However, the check-in process was somewhat odd. I had to buzz in and then work to communicate with someone who spoke English. The hallways felt a bit eerie with their dark colors and narrow spaces. Additionally, I found it inconvenient that there were no basic kitchen amenities like a kettle or microwave, making my stay feel less comfortable. My biggest concern was the lack of shelves in the shower, which forced me to leave my toiletries on the floor. Overall, the stay was satisfactory, but some improvements in service and room amenities could make it a lot better.

Security concerns marred the stay
The spacious room offered a bit of charm, and it was close to lively Rue St Joseph with its unique shops and restaurants. The bed was comfortable, perfect for unwinding after long days exploring.
However, the atmosphere at night felt unsafe with homeless individuals in the vicinity. The staff was inconsistent. while some were friendly, others were less welcoming, and the lack of amenities left much to be desired.

The location is a great base for exploring, as there are lots of nearby restaurants and shops within easy walking distance.
Check-in was unusual at 4 PM, and I found the lobby access to bathrooms lacking, which is quite inconvenient for guests arriving early.

The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, making my stay enjoyable. The building’s historic charm adds to its unique character, but the service, unfortunately, lacked responsiveness during my visit.

The location provided convenient access to various attractions, all within a reasonable walking distance. The modern room featured large windows, a comfortable bed, and fast Wi-Fi, making it an excellent option for a quick getaway. Breakfast was satisfying, with options like fresh French pastries and homemade jams to start the day. However, the walk to the Old City was longer than anticipated, and some amenities felt basic for the price paid.
